Listening to the heart is not easy. Because the mind always intercedes. The mind, or commonly known as the ego, always wants to make its own decisions, its own learning. As if it were the champion of wonderful decisions. So how do we listen to the heart? How do you know it’s the heart speaking?

It’s not a very simple moment, but it is possible. You just need to be in the Divine Presence. Many people answer me: “But I don’t know how to be in the Divine Presence”. Then I answer: You are capable. You are powerful. Let go of this belief that you can’t do anything. You have to. You have to be connected to the Divine Presence.

But for this to happen, you must first believe that this is possible; believe that you are capable. So give it a try. Try staying for a while, just breathing, slowly and deeply. That’s the big secret.

Breathing slowly calms the mind. It’s as if you put your mind to sleep. Then, after a while, you effectively feel disconnected from the world. During this time, forget about commitments, forget about the outside world. Focus only on your breathing.

And when you feel good, relaxed, imagine that you are just a piece of string, with a light bulb in the middle, and 2 ends. One end connects there in the center of the planet, in the heart of Gaia. And the other end at the ends of the universe. It doesn’t matter where; in the heart of God the Father/Mother.

Make this connection. And you will see the Light come on. This Light is the Divine Presence. So, right now, believe that you have been able to connect to it. Then listen to the heart speak; as long as the Light is on. Stay focused on this electrical connection. Just watch the light bulb go on. As long as this is happening, the Divine Presence is there. The heart is speaking. And there will be no doubt about what will be said. Because there is no one better than your Higher Self, the Divine Presence, to give you advice, to show you the way.

So do this exercise. It’s very simple. And a warning: If you don’t manage to light the bulb the first time you try, don’t give up. There may be a piece of wire loose. It could be that the bulb isn’t fitted properly. What do I mean by that? That everyone can do it. Everyone can do it. Because the Higher Self, the Divine Presence, is not outside; it is within you. So how can you not connect with it?

The big problem is not connecting with the Divine Presence. The biggest problem is silencing the ego. It’s placating the mind. It’s making the mind sleep. Not sleep in the sense that the body is asleep. But the mind calming down, sleeping, so that the heart can speak, speak, speak without interruption. This is the great secret.

It’s not the connection that’s difficult. It’s quieting the mind that’s difficult. It’s making it quiet. So do this exercise. And you’ll realize that every day, the Light will come on faster. And even if it takes a while to light up, don’t get discouraged, don’t give up. One day you will succeed.

And be ready to listen to your hearts. This is the most important connection right now. Because it is the voice of God the Father/Mother speaking to each one of you. And no, don’t think it’s impossible. Because each of you has His Divine Spark. So He’s in there. It’s a little piece of Him that’s in there and keeps you alive. Why can’t He speak? Why can’t he reach you? He is your Divine Presence.

So do this little exercise. And you’ll see how soon you’ll be listening to your heart and having great conversations. And that will be wonderful!
